Dr. Manju Arora
Dr. Arora has been a veterinarian for over 15 years and graduated with distinction from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2000. She later completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2006 from the Sauder School of Business at UBC. Dr. Arora has worked in veterinary clinics, industry and management.
Her areas of special interest include wellness and preventative medicine, comprehensive pain management, and caring for senior pets. She has visited over 150 veterinary hospitals in British Columbia and has taken her experience to create a Fear Free℠ veterinary hospital based on the research led by Dr. Marty Becker.
Queen’s Park Pet Hospital is equipped with advanced equipment including digital body and dental x-ray to help provide pets with the quality of care they deserve, provided by a skilled and compassionate team.
Dr. Arora loves hiking, running and spending time with her two cats Meena (adopted from the BCSPCA 12 years ago), and “baby” Opal (adopted last year from the New Westminster Animal Shelter).
She enjoys giving back to the community by working with the local shelter, Hugabull Rescue, and Northwest Greyhound League.
Dr. Sarah Holden
Dr. Holden completed her undergraduate degree at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario where she studied biology and psychology. She then attended veterinary school in Dublin, Ireland at University College Dublin. This allowed her to combine her love of animals with a love of travel.
Dr. Holden’s areas of special interest include dentistry and dermatology. After working in small animal practice in Kamloops and White Rock, she is happy to be working full time with the pets of New Westminster.
Outside of work, Dr. Holden is currently training to run the BMO Half Marathon, and enjoys taking spin and yoga classes. She has an ancient toothless Chihuahua called Andy who comes to work every day and loves to meet all the pet owners. On occasion, her young Brussels Griffon Harold is also at the clinic looking for ways to cause trouble.
Office Manager/Registered Veterinary Technician
Kelly joined the veterinary world as a volunteer after living in Australia. She is excited to lead the team and share her more than 20 years experience working in veterinary hospitals. Kelly graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Douglas College in 2010. Her favourite part of being an animal health technician is using nursing skills to provide care and comfort to patients so they feel safe.
She shares her home with four adorable pets, Genie Beanie a Ridgeback cross, Coco the Cockapoo, Daisymay a Siamese Mix, and Pretzel the tabby cat. Outside of work, Kelly loves to travel and has visited more than 25 countries! When travelling she enjoys visiting wildlife parks and animal sanctuaries.
